Discount Hockey's Most Anticipated NHL Goalie Pads of 2014-15

Discount Hockey's Most Anticipated NHL Goalie Pads of 2014-15

The start of the 2014-15 NHL season is only a few weeks away, and we are extremely excited to see goalies with their brand-new pad setups. Some 'tenders are changing their pads to match their new teams' color schemes and others are showing off their pad manufacturers' flashy new designs. Here is a countdown of Discount Hockey's favorite new pads for the upcoming season:

5. Robin Lehner, Ottawa Senators, Vaughn Ventus LT90 Pro

Robin Lehner shows off the newly released Vaughn Ventus LT90 pads.

4. Jonas Hiller, Calgary Flames, Koho Revolution

Jonas Hiller has one of the most colorful setups we will see all season.

3. Carey Price, Montreal Canadiens, CCM EFlex Pro 2

Carey Price goes for the clean look with the new CCM EFlex Pro 2's this year.

2. Jonathan Bernier, Toronto Maple Leafs, CCM EFlex Pro 2

Jonathan Bernier updates his setup with Toronto blue and white CCM EFlex Pro 2's.

1. Eddie Lack, Vancouver Canucks, Brian's G-Netik 2 Pro

Eddie Lack's new pads feature prominent Canucks alternate logos both across the leg pads and on both his glove and blocker.

Honorable mention: Malcom Subban, Providence Bruins, Brian's Sub-Zero Pro II

Even though Malcom Subban is not guaranteed to play in the NHL this season, we think he has one of the sickest setups on the list.

Agree/disagree with our selections? Think another goalie has a better setup than the ones on our list? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
