CCM JetSpeed FT390 shin guards are the second-tier model in the new JetSpeed protective lineup. The JetSpeed protective line is an evolution of CCM’s QuickLite (QLT) protective line, as it is extremely lightweight, offers excellent freedom of movement, and doesn’t compromise protection.

CCM’s JetSpeed shin guard line brings players a low-profile, anatomical fit. This means that they have a close, snug fit throughout the entire pad. The FT390 shin guards have a lightweight shell design and provide players with a high level of protection, comfort, and mobility.

The most important new features that were not found in last generation’s QLT290 shin guards are the adjustable calf strap and vented knee cap. The calf strap system is customizable for a perfect snug fit for all calf sizes and the vented knee cap keeps the legs cool throughout the duration of the game. Plus, the new hinge system gives players improved mobility and protection.

CCM continues to use the removable DryFoam liner and molded PE foam thigh guard that were first used on last year’s QuickLite models. These provide a lightweight, custom fit, easy maintenance, and great level of protection. Also, CCM uses an upper lock strap with stretchable comfort cushion on the upper knee in addition to the new adjustable length calf strap around the lower leg.

CCM JetSpeed FT390 shin guards have the most comparable fit style to Bauer’s second-tier Supreme S190 shin guards.

LIGHTWEIGHT SHELL DESIGN AND HINGE SYSTEM - Hinge system for improved mobility and protection.

MOLDED PE CALF PROTECTOR - Light protection and allows a better fit.

MOLDED PE FOAM - Great level of protection.

UPPER LOCK STRAP WITH COMFORT CUSHION + NEW ADJUSTABLE CALF STRAP - Customizable adjustment for a perfect snug fit for all calf sizes.

MOLDED PE FOAM / REMOVABLE DRYFOAM LINER - Custom fit, easy maintenance and high level protection.

Sizing Guidelines: Shin guards are measured best while the player is sitting. Using shin guards that are either too long or too short will result in the knee or instep being exposed and unprotected. Shin guards should be secured with shin guard straps or tape. To fit properly, first determine the level of play. Next, measure from the center of the kneecap to the top of the skate boot. Last, match the player’s shin size to the inches of shin guard.
