The Supreme S190 shin guards are Bauer’s second-tier model in the Supreme line and will give players an elite level of protection at a fraction of the price of the top-of-the-line 1S model. The most notable new feature that was not found in last generation's Supreme 190 shin guards is the Vent Armor foam on the knee wing. This provides additional comfort and protection in a key impact area.

Bauer’s 2017 Supreme protective line brings players their trademark anatomical fit. This means that Supreme gear has the lowest profile fit between Vapor, Supreme, and Nexus pads. It provides a natural, close-to-the-body fit that helps players achieve maximum power with every movement.

The S190 shin guards are nearly as protective as the 1S model, thanks to the same mid density (MD) foams and polyethylene (PE) inserts in the calf guards. Both models also feature Vent Armor foam on the knee wing for added comfort and protection.

The S190 is the only Supreme shin guard that offers the moisture wicking THERMO MAX liner. This means that the pads will stay dryer and lighter during play because they will not be absorbing sweat.

Bauer Supreme S190 shin guards have the most comparable fit to CCM’s second-tier QuickLite 290 and Easton’s Stealth C9.0 models.

Sizing Guidelines: Shin guards are measured best while the player is sitting. Using shin guards that are either too long or too short will result in the knee or instep being exposed and unprotected. Shin guards should be secured with shin guard straps or tape. To fit properly, first determine the level of play. Next, measure from the center of the kneecap to the top of the skate boot. Last, match the player’s shin size to the inches of shin guard.
